On January 25, 2023, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of South Korea to Uzbekistan Mr. Kim Hee-sang visited the Tashkent Institute of Finance. The ambassador was accompanied by Mr. Heo Insoo, First Secretary of the Korean Embassy in Uzbekistan.

Rector of Tashkent Institute of Finance, Professor T. Teshabaev, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, S. Mehmonov, and the Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and Innovations, A. Islamkulov took part in the negotiations.

Rector T. Teshabaev sincerely thanked the Ambassador for his visit to Tashkent Institute of Finance and spoke about the practical results of the institute today and plans for its future activities. After that, they discussed issues of establishing cooperation in educational, scientific and innovative activities of  Tashkent Institute of Finance with prestigious higher educational institutions, international organizations of South Korea in the future.

 The ambassador also emphasized that there are all opportunities for further development of practical cooperation between the parties.

The guests were also introduced to the educational process of the institute, the conditions created for students: libraries, lecture halls, the activities of the "Digital Finance" incubation and acceleration center. Presentations of projects developed by students were held.

It is worth noting that this meeting is a prelude to the rich practical results of the cooperation of the Tashkent Institute of Finance with South Korean higher education institutions and international organizations.
