An online conference was held on International Financial Reporting Standards
On November 7, Tashkent Institute of Finance in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted an international online conference on "International Financial Reporting Standards: Opportunities and Current Issues."
The conference was attended by professors of the Tashkent Institute of Finance and other higher education institutions of the Republic, representatives of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Hamid Irgashev - associate professor of the Hult International Business School, ASSA, ASA, heads of the Chamber of Auditors of Uzbekistan, experts and students.
The conference focused on local and international experience in implementing international financial reporting standards. In particular, Hamid Irgashev's report on the UK experience in implementing the IFRS at the conference left a deep impression on the participants.
