In connection with the proclamation of November 25 – International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women” by the General Assembly of the United Nations auctions “We are Against Violence” are held in our country. As part of these auctions, a meeting on the topic “We are supporters of protecting women from oppression and violence” was organized at the Tashkent Institute of Finance by the Women's Council of the institute.

 The event was conducted by the vice-rector for work with youth K.D.Karimova. The event was attended by the deputy hokim of the Yunusabad district of Tashkent city, the chairman of the Women's Committee of the district Ishkhodjaeva Gulnara Mukhitdinovna made a speech on the topic “We are supporters  of protecting women from all forms of oppression and violence”, Senior Lecturer of the International Islamic Academy Saidafzal Saidjalalov – on the topic “The social role of women and men in the family and society”, Candidate of Law, docent of Tashkent Law University Kadirova Mohigul – on the topic “Legal aspects of protecting women from oppression and violence”. The event was attended by the chairmen of the institute and faculty women's councils, curators of academic groups and students. This event led to increase legal literacy in protecting women from all forms and types of oppression and violence, preparing young people for the formation of a healthy moral climate in the family and society.
