Uzbek and Russian Languages   Department of   Tashkent Institute of Finance took part in the Erasmus+ project of the Jean Monnet Program with the project -MODULE TOT (training for trainers) on gender equality.
 

This project is aimed at expanding knowledge about the processes of gender competence through TOT (training of trainers) among young students and teachers of Tashkent Institute of Finance, as well as the academic lyceum at TIF in order to promote the concept of active citizenship in matters of gender equality.







 

The project is aimed at developing and introducing into the educational process of the Language Center at TIF training programs or courses in the field of studying the experiences of the European Union. The module is designed for 40 academic hours per year and includes: peer-to-peer training.
 

The current issues of this project are issues of gender equality, which are included in the list of current goals not only of the European Union, but also of Uzbekistan.







 

It is planned to conduct training courses at regional and republican scale, as well as additional events (round table discussion, seminar, conference).
 

During the training, newly minted co-facilitator-trainers and teachers can improve their legal literacy on issues of gender equality and a gender approach in teaching disciplines.

Universities play a key role in ensuring the rights of citizens, including the implementation of laws on gender equality and the protection of women from harassment and violence. In this regard, university teachers are the most important link in the training of professional personnel who will effectively ensure the rule of law, including equality of women and men on the basis of national legislation and best international practices in this area.
