А master class n the topic "Gender linguistics: feminitives"
On December 28 of this year, a master class was organized for professors-teachers of the Department of Uzbek and Russian Languages according to the Jean Monnet project gender equality of the Erasmus+ program on the topic "Gender linguistics: feminitives".
The master class was attended by the teaching staff of the department of "Uzbek and Russian languages". Project coordinator F. Salokhodzhayeva presented a presentation and spoke in detail about the topic of the project.
It was noted at the event that the appearance of feminitives - feminist nouns formed mainly from masculine words of the Russian language, denoting the professional and social roles of women, directly depends on the number of subjects present in certain positions and on the frequency of use of these words in conversations, the media, books and the Internet.
