An event called "National garment- the image of the nation, an expression of national pride" was held at the Tashkent Institute of Finance
The contest "National garment- the image of the nation, the expression of national pride" approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PF-87 of March 7, 2022, will be used for the economic, political and social life of women in the country in 2022-2026. Within the framework of the comprehensive plan of measures aimed at the implementation of the national program for increasing the activity in all aspects in 2022-2023, the women's advisory board of the institute was held in the creative cooperation of the teams of all faculties.
The event was directly attended by students, professors and teachers of the institute, advisers of the dean on women's issues and tutors of the faculties.The goals and objectives of the competition are to effectively use the potential of female students and female pedagogues-employees in the implementation of the tasks defined in the National Program on increasing the activity of women in all aspects of the country's economic, political and social life in 2022-2026, Uzbek dressing culture, its promotion, choice of clothes, adherence to Uzbek standards of modesty in modern dressing, customs, traditions and values that are not typical of our national traditions by widely promoting our national traditions prevention of Western imitation and other dressing cultures, popularization of Uzbek national costumes, promotion of dressing culture.
During the event, exhibitions of samples of national pottery, embroidery, goldsmithing, blacksmithing, presentations of national costumes were held.
The main event is an interfaculty pageant called "National garment - the image of the nation, expression of national pride", in which the creative teams of the faculties will demonstrate the charm of national dresses through national traditions and national values , they competed on terms of historical development, interpretation of national traditions, modern interpretation of national costumes and popularization of Uzbek national costumes.
Teams of faculties presented their performances through stage performances, dances and presentation of national costumes. Demonstrations were shown in the region in thematic compositions of their national traditions and customs that have been refined over the centuries.
While preparing for this event, young people get to know national customs and traditions, learn about the historical development of national costumes, how they have been improved over the centuries, and contribute to the strengthening of our values. Such events help young people to understand our national identity, respect national customs and traditions, and are of great importance in raising them in the spirit of love for the Motherland.
