International scientific and practical conference “Modern trends and prospects for the development of the financial system”, held at the Tashkent Financial Institute on May 27, 2022.
As one part of achievement of the goals outlined by the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026, fulfillment of strategic objectives in the financial sector, as well as modernization of the system of higher education, increase in scientific potential, development of education and science within the framework of the Concept for the Development of the Higher Education System until the 2030s, As part of achieving the goals outlined by the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026, fulfilling strategic objectives in the financial sector, as well as modernizing higher education, increasing scientific potential, developing education and science within the framework of the Concept for the Development of the Higher Education System until the 2030s, On May 27, 2022, the Department of Finance of the Tashkent Financial Institute held the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Modern Trends and Prospects for the Development of the Financial System”.
The main goal of the conference is to discuss problems and develop evidence-based proposals and recommendations on the views and concepts of the theory of finance, modern problems of public finance, the comprehensive development of the financial system, increasing the financial literacy of the population, prospects for the growth of alternative financing, and modern trends in the global financial system by attracting world-class scientists.
The geography of the international conference has significantly expanded compared to previous international conferences held by the Institute. Scientists-economists, researchers, and students from another states like the USA, France, Spain, the Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and other countries along with representatives of national universities took an active part in its activities. The conference was also attended by the heads of state authorities and administrative bodies, in particular, representatives of the Senate and the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, the Accounts Chamber, and the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan who presented with scientific reports on actual problems of strengthening the financial system and improving global financial relations.
The conference was held in two stages: a plenary session and work in sections on the main areas of the conference, according to the results of which the participants who delivered the best reports were awarded diplomas.
Recommendations and proposals developed as a result of the conference will be published in the conference materials, as well as transferred to the relevant ministries and administrative bodies for their further practical implementation. The scientific and practical activities of university scientists of this format will serve to further improve the country's financial system and solve global financial problems.
