On October 16, 2020, a scientific-literary event on the topic "The state language and literacy" was organized at the institute on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the status of the Uzbek language as the state language.
Honored Journalist of Uzbekistan, Director General of the National News Agency of Uzbekistan Abdusaid Kochimov made a report on "State language and press", Dean of the Faculty of Uzbek Philology of the Uzbek Language and Literature University named after Alisher Navoi, Doctor of Philology, Professor Bakhtiyor Abdushukurov shared his views on "Writing and Literacy".
