Broad promotion of a healthy lifestyle among the population in a pandemic, educating the young generation to be healthy and harmoniously developed

On November 4, 2021, the Department of Accounting and Economic Analysis, within the framework of the Week of Spirituality and Enlightenment in student dormitory No. 3, held a round table discussion with the students of the Institute, dedicated to the "Year of Supporting Youth and Strengthening Public Health" on the topic "Broad promotion of a healthy lifestyle among the population in a pandemic, educating the young generation to be healthy and harmoniously developed. "

The round table was opened by the head of the department "Accounting" prof. N. Rizaev. The report was devoted to the implementation of effective work to increase the activity of women in all spheres of the economic, political and social life of the country, comprehensive assistance in obtaining education and professional skills, as well as ensuring their employment, he noted that effective work is being carried out to further support entrepreneurial initiatives.



 

After that, from the female teachers of the department, Assoc. F. Klichev. F. Klicheva mainly talked about the attention paid to women and girls in the socio-economic sphere: at the fifteenth plenary session of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, held on May 28 this year, the strategy for achieving gender equality in Uzbekistan until 2030 was discussed.

 

 

One of the teachers of the department, N. Imamova, also spoke about the role of women in our society, as well as the measures outlined in the strategy to achieve gender equality.
 

In particular, as a result of the implementation of the strategy, it is expected:
 

- the practice of appointing women to leadership positions in the upper and lower levels of government will be expanded;
 

- equal representation of women and men through the introduction of a system of temporary quotas in government bodies, where there is a gender imbalance;
 

- increase the efficiency of work to ensure employment, create decent working conditions and support vulnerable and low-income women, especially women from rural families, as well as self-employment;
 

- prevention of harassment and violence against women in the workplace, elimination of negative attitudes towards them in society.

 


 

At the round table, the problems of female students were heard. It was suggested that female students be assigned to nurses, and Internet issues would be brought to the attention of management. The students received answers to their questions. The event turned out to be very interesting and informative.
