On July 8, 2023, the ceremony of awarding diplomas to the first graduates of the joint faculty was held at Tashkent Institute of Finance, which was established in cooperation with Polotsk State University of the Republic of Belarus.

Representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Tashkent, the leadership of the Tashkent Institute of Finance, Polotsk State University, professors and teachers, graduating students and their parents, and media representatives took part in the event.

Today, relations between the Republics of Belarus and Uzbekistan are developing consistently in many areas, including in education. As part of this cooperation, Tashkent Institute of Finance is closely cooperating with Polotsk State University. In particular, in 2019, the TMI-PDU joint faculty was established in cooperation with the Tashkent Institute of Finance and Polotsk State University of the Republic of Belarus, and about 450 students are currently studying at this faculty. In this faculty, on the basis of the "3+1" joint educational program, specialists are being trained in such educational areas as finance and financial technologies, banking and auditing, accounting and auditing, business analysis, e-commerce. 

According to the agreement, 103 graduates of the joint faculty  received diplomas from the Tashkent Institute of Finance and the Polotsk State University.

It is worth mentioning that Tashkent Institute of Finance is also becoming one of the leading educational institutions in our country that prepares competitive personnel at the level of international standards by increasing the prestige of national education within the framework of academic mobility. The institute is a basic higher education institution that prepares personnel that serves to ensure the financial stability of our country. Today, 10 faculties and 25 departments provide high-quality education services to more than 15,000 students. The institute prepares competitive personnel for the labor market in economics, economic security, accounting and auditing, finance and financial technologies, management, business analysis, e-commerce, logistics, taxes and taxation, insurance work, service and financing of investment projects and other educational areas.
