On the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the Independence of our country, I would like to sincerely congratulate all our compatriots, professors, teachers, employees of our institute, and our students, who are the belief and foundation of our future.

Today is the dearest and greatest holiday in our country. Our beloved Motherland is celebrating the thirty-second anniversary of its independence under the motto "For a new life, for a new Uzbekistan!" with joy, peace, wholeheartedness, and gratitude.

We are equally pleased that the passing period of our country's independence, especially in recent years, is taking a place in history as a period of large-scale consistent reforms, great renewal and creativity in the life of our state and people. At this point, a lot of innovations and reforms were implemented in the field of education, in particular, in the system of higher education, as in all areas. The foundations of systemic reforms to fundamentally change the attitude to education and raise the status of teachers and trainers in our society have been strengthened. Reforming the higher education system, which is considered as the locomotive of our development, introducing modern educational programs, establishing cooperation with the most advanced higher education institutions of foreign countries, and providing the economic sectors with personnel that meet world standards are on the main agenda.

In recent years, Tashkent Institute of Finance as a base higher education institution that serves to ensure the financial stability of our country based on the "higher education + quality + development" model, which meets the priority directions of socio-economic development and the requirements of international standards is climbing to the top of the international and local rankings day by day. Continuous practical efforts are being made to ensure the implementation of the tasks set in the process of training highly qualified personnel with modern knowledge and high spiritual and moral qualities, who think independently, to a new level in terms of quality, to modernize educational processes, based on advanced educational technologies, to develop the social sphere and economic sectors.

It is worth mentioning with pride that the institute was ranked 3rd in the general rating of higher education institutions in the Republic by the State Inspectorate for Quality Control of Education under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in the rating of higher education institutions in the social and humanitarian sphere. The 2nd place was recorded for the first time in the QS Rankings, 551-600 among the universities of Asian countries, 29th among the universities of Central Asia, and 3rd among the higher education organizations of Uzbekistan.

Also, Tashkent Institute of Finance was recorded  as a contender for a place in the "TOP-1000" ranking of Times Higher Education agency "World University Rankings - 2023", "green campus and environmental sustainability" initiated by "Universitas Indonesia" (UI GreenMetric World University Ranking) international rankings.

We know that these indicators are the prelude to great goals set before us, and the team of the institute is aiming for even greater results. It should be noted that the scientific potential of the professors and teachers of the institute is 68.2 percent and this indicator is increasing year by year. In addition, a number of professors and teachers are constantly participating in training courses in foreign higher education institutions in order to learn and implement advanced foreign experiences in improving the quality of education at our university.

In the institute, a number of effective works are carried out in order to ensure the continuity of "integration of science, education and production", modernization of education with industry enterprises-organizations, commercial banks, development of social sphere and economic sectors based on advanced educational technologies, ensuring employment of students, improving the practical knowledge and skills of our youth. In particular, in the academic year 2022-2023, the defense of master's and bachelor's degree and graduation qualification works of the graduates of the Tashkent Institute of Finance was organized in an unconventional way for the first time in production facilities.

It is worth mentioning with pride that in the last academic year, many of our students have won excellent results in foreign and republic science olympiads, knowledge competitions, international and local sports competitions. A number of our talented students became recipients of prestigious scholarships. We think that such indicators will continue to increase. Of course, the entire team of the institute mobilizes all the possibilities for the achievement of great achievements of our students.

In fact, the wide opportunities created, the attention given and the practical results achieved are thanks to the great blessing of independence. Independence became the real owner of its destiny for our country, realized its value, created an opportunity to live a decent life, establish a legal democratic state and civil society in our country. The above-mentioned results are a vivid expression of the peace and tranquility that independence has given us.

Dear colleagues, dear students!

I would like to take this opportunity to once again sincerely congratulate you dear ones and all your family members on the Independence Day of our heavenly Motherland, the holiday of freedom, and auspicious days. I wish, our new Uzbekistan reach high milestones towards development, may our land be peaceful, our sky clear, and our independence be eternal!
