"Information Day" was organized in cooperation with the national office of the European Union "Erasmus+" program in Uzbekistan
On December 14, 2022 "Information Day" was organized in cooperation with the national office of the European Union "Erasmus+" program in Uzbekistan at Tashkent Institute of Finance.
The purpose of organizing this event is to provide information about the new competition announced by the "Erasmus+" program in 2023 in all directions in which higher education institutions of Uzbekistan can participate, specific examples of projects implemented in all selected directions and within the framework of the previous competition in 2022 to introduce the topics of new projects, to create an opportunity to establish contacts and discuss new project ideas among representatives of higher education institutions in all regions of the republic on the basis of current issues of the development of the republic's higher education system, taking into account the results of completed and ongoing projects, who have not previously participated in the Tempus or Erasmus+ programs providing methodological support for the preparation of projects for representatives of new higher education institutions.
The relevance of the Erasmus+ program, its diverse activities and the possibilities of long-term cooperation are coordinated and serve to achieve the goals set in the concept of the development of the higher education system of the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2030 was emphasized at the event.
2017-2021 was a period of fundamental changes for the higher education system of Uzbekistan and important decisions were made to improve the quality of higher education, which significantly increased the relevance and important role of rapidly developing international cooperation. One of its important branches is the Erasmus+ program, which currently covers a total of 65 higher education institutions from all regions of the republic.
It is of international importance that it was organised at Tashkent Institute of Finance. Such events serve as one of the important factors in increasing the scientific potential of the institute in its international activities.
