The Department of "Insurance and Pension Affairs" pays special attention to improving the quality of education, training highly qualified personnel for the insurance sector, and strengthening the integration between education and practice in this regard. Among them, the "Insurance and Pension Affairs" department is organizing events within the "INNOWEEK.UZ-2023" international innovative ideas week.

On October 21, 2023, students of the 1st year SS-61/23 and 3rd year SS-90/21 groups of the Faculty of Taxes and Insurance studying in the "Insurance" educational direction, accompanied by O. Yuldashev, associate professor of the "Insurance and Pension Affairs" department, participated in the practical training organized at the branch of the department in the "Uzbekinvest" export-import insurance company.

The deputy chief accountant of the company, I. Khakhorov, gave an interesting presentation to the students on the topic "Concept, types and formation of insurance reserves". During the presentation, the essence and types of insurance reserves, the procedure for forming reserves for each type of insurance and their placement in investment objects, the reflection, accounting and write-off of insurance reserves in the company's accounting, the role of actuarial accounts in the formation of insurance reserves were explained in detail. This practical training, which was held in interactive and question-and-answer mode, aroused great interest among students.
