On November 14, 2022 a meeting was held on the topic "Enlightenment against ignorance" in the 1st lecture hall of Tashkent Institute of Finance, with the participation of representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers, institute activists and students to get to know the advanced ideas, proposals and initiatives of students, to solve their problems.
 

Meliquziyev Jahangir Valijonovich, the responsible officer of the Committee on Religious Affairs under the Cabinet of Ministers, K. Karimova, the first vice-rector of the institute for youth issues and spiritual and educational affairs, and O. Normurodov, the advisor to the rector participated at the event.

It was emphasized that the relationship between the state and religion, the true essence of Islam, the tragic consequences of being caught in the net of radical, extremist ideas, and the increasing importance of the idea of ​​"Fighting ignorance with enlightenment" promoted by the President from the highest tribunes in these processes.
 

During the event, the tutors and students who visited were shown the instructive films "The Edge of the Cliff" and "False Claims". Students have personally experienced the dangers of drug addiction, bigotry and terrorism in these films.

After the screening of the film, detailed information was given and ideas were exchanged about the concepts of "Ignorance", "Enlightenment", peace and stability between the principle of "Enlightenment against Ignorance", the process of globalization, "mass culture", the religion of Islam, which teaches only goodness to all mankind.
 

 Also, at the event, the nature of the un-Islamic activities of the subversive currents and movements that disguised the religion of Islam was revealed on the basis of clear facts. At the end of the meeting, the questions of the students were answered in detail by experts.
