The widespread introduction of information and communications technology in the insurance sector, the digitalization of the insurance sectors, are the demands of the present time.

According to a memorandum of mutual cooperation signed in 2021 between the Tashkent Finance Institute and Uzbekinvest export-import insurance company, a branch of the Insurance and Pension Business Department started its activity in the insurance company in 2022.

On 15 April 2023, the 1st year students of the groups SS-73 and SS-20 on "Insurance business" of the Faculty of Taxes and Insurance, accompanied by Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer of the Department "Insurance and pension business" Sh.A. Zakirhodjaeva and F.Sh. Khamraeva took part in the practical training, organized at the Uzbekinvest export-import insurance company, branch of the department.

The Company Manager K.Hikmatullaev gave an interesting presentation on "Digitalization - the demand of the era". During the presentation the concept of electronic policy, the order of sale of electronic policies, the processes of online sales were explained. This practical session, which took place in an interactive form and in question and answer mode, aroused great interest among the students.

It should be noted that the Department of Insurance and Pensions will continue to organize activities aimed at improving the quality of education as part of the objectives set out in the roadmap approved in 2023 to improve the quality of education and enhance the social and spiritual environment.
