The socio-economic development of New Uzbekistan is directly related to attracting investments, including foreign direct investments. In this regard, in the current economic conditions, to create a favorable and attractive investment environment in the country, it is necessary to increase the ability of the regions to attract capital and to organize social, financial, economic, and legal conditions. For the sustainable development of investment activity and increasing the scale of investments attracted to the country, it is crucial to improve the investment environment and reduse problems associated with increasing its attractiveness.

The main goal of organizing a republican scientific and practical conference on the topic of Further improvement of the investment climate in the country and increasing its attractiveness is to implement the tasks set within the framework of decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated October 29, 2020, No. UP-6097 “On approval of the concept of scientific development until the 2030 year”, dated January 28, 2022, No. UP-60 “On the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026”, as well as increasing the effectiveness of economic reforms in our country.

Professors, teachers, doctoral students, independent researchers, masters, students, and industry experts participated in the conference.

The main goal of the conference is to develop scientific proposals and practical recommendations aimed at further improving the investment environment in the country and increasing its attractiveness, as well as solving existing problems in this area with the participation of leading economists, scientists, and experts.

At the conference, presentations were made by participants in the following areas:

1. Effective use of investments in achieving economic progress.

2. Activation of attracting investments in the "green economy".

3. Further improvement of the investment climate in the country and active attraction of foreign investment in the economy.

4. Improving the financing of investment activities.

5. Improving the financial and credit mechanism of state support for investment activities.

At this conference, issues related to state support for foreign and domestic investors, an analysis of the conditions and opportunities created for investors, as well as factors affecting the effectiveness of investment projects implemented in the regions, the current state of investment legislation, and discussed scientific proposals and practical recommendations to solve problems related to increasing the economic potential of enterprises by improving the financing of investment activities.

The decisions adopted following the results of the conference serve to increase the efficiency of the use of investments, further improve the investment climate in the country and increase its attractiveness, enhance the attraction of investments in the "Green Economy", actively attract foreign investment to the republic, improve the financial and credit mechanism of state support and financing of investment activities.
