Round table on the topic “Compliance control against corruption. What is it and to what extent can it put an end to corruption?”

On November 22 of this year, Associate Professor of the Department of Management and Marketing, PhD Sobirjonov Sanjar Sobirjonovich, organized a round table on the topic “Compliance control against corruption. What is it and to what extent can it put an end to corruption?” to academic groups IM-80 and IM-81 of the Faculty of Economics. The event was attended by Sardor Darveshov, head of the department of the compliance control system for the fight against corruption.

 

During the event, Sardor Darveshov emphasized that the anti-corruption internal system of “compliance control”, first of all, prevents the commission of corrupt actions by employees of state and economic management bodies, business entities, ensures compliance of their activities with the requirements of regulatory documents, and also that they protect their interests from various threats and responsibilities.

 

In addition, Sanjar Sobirjonov mentioned such actions as managing conflicts of interest in the compliance control system, gifts and hospitality in the work process, recruiting employees, transferring from position to position, financial incentives, conducting inspections and studying the activities of government bodies and organizations, counterparties and interactions with third parties, charitable and sponsorship activities, secret client events, video recording and broadcasting of events, anti-corruption examination of internal documents, employee consulting.

 

At the end of the event, students received detailed answers to their questions. The round table served to develop students' immunity to the fight against corruption and further enrich their knowledge about moral qualities in the fight against corruption.
