On October 17, 2022, a scientific-practical conference was held on the topic " Current issues of teaching history in new Uzbekistan are an important factor in the effectiveness of socio-political changes and strategic reforms" on the occasion of the 70^th  anniversary of Naim Halimovich Oblomurodov, head of "Social Sciences" department of the Tashkent Institute of Finance, doctor of history  and the 45th   anniversary of his scientific and pedagogical activity.

Islamkulov, vice-president of the SA of Uzbekistan, doctor of history, prof. B.A. Abdukhalimov, vice-president of the SA of Uzbekistan, doctor of history, prof. A.H. Askarov, Honored scientist of the Republic of Uzbekistan, DSс, prof. Yo.A.Abdullaev, department heads, deans, teachers and students, guests took part in the conference.
 

The speakers expressed their sincere opinions about the scientific and creative activities of one of the devotees of the history of Uzbekistan, Doctor of History, Professor N.H. Oblomurodov.
 

Professor N.H. Oblomurodov has been active in creating new generation literature. He is a passionate historian, he leads a number of scientific research works that illuminate the annals of our history based on new principles and creative approaches. 3 monographs, 4 textbooks, 10 teaching manuals, 5 teaching-methodical manuals, more than 100 scientific articles and theses are among them as a result of the teacher's scientific-pedagogical activity.

Professor N.H. Oblomurodov has been teaching his students his knowledge and experience during his scientific and pedagogical activity. As a result, 2 doctors of science and 3 doctors of philosophy (PhD) in history were prepared under the guidance of the teacher. Currently, N.H. Oblomurodov's students are working in responsible positions in the republic's higher education system and state administration bodies.

He was awarded with badges for the 20th anniversary of Uzbekistan's independence in 2011 and 30th anniversary in 2021 for his services to the development of the country's higher education system.
