Fundamental and scientific-practical research works related to the further development and improvement of the field of audit activities of the Republic are carried out by professors and teachers of the Department. At the department, 27 doctoral students, independent researchers are conducting research work on doctoral dissertations. Therefore, the scientific potential of the department at present is 57%. Scientific and practical conferences, round tables and scientific and theoretical seminars dedicated to the pressing problems of audit activities of our country are held by the Department. In recent years, the Department's team has published 8 textbooks, 5 monographs, 12 textbooks, more than 40 articles and abstracts in international scientific journals.

Special attention is paid by professors and teachers of the department to the publication of articles in international scientific and analytical databases and in prestigious international scientific journals with a high impact factor. In particular, in 2022-2023, articles were published by professors of the department, 50 were published in journals recognized by OAK, 1 in Scopus, and 23 in scientific journals with a high impact factor.

        During the academic year 2022-2023, 6 of the professors who worked in the department were awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the specialty 08.00.08-accounting, economic analysis and audit. This in turn contributed to the fact that the scientific potential of the Audit Department grew by 57 percent.
