Brief information on interdisciplinary institute for advanced training and retraining of financial and banking employees at the Tashkent Financial Institute

  The interdepartmental institute was established in accordance with the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan №91-f of March 13, 1992.

  At the interdepartmental institute there are organized training courses for employees of commercial banks and teachers of professional colleges.

  There are no chairs and faculties in the structure of the institute;

  At the Interdepartmental Institute there are 43 professors and teachers and practitioners involved. Of these, 15 professors and teachers are involved in professional development courses for teachers of professional colleges, and 28 professors, teachers and advanced practitioners are involved in the upgrading courses for banking system specialists.

  Among them are the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republican Stock Exchange, the Tashkent Commodity Exchange, the Tashkent City Trade Union and commercial banks, as well as the Banking and Finance Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Tashkent Financial Institute, Tashkent State Economic University, Agrarian University, University of World Economy and Diplomacy, professors and teachers and directors of commercial banks, and auditors. Among them are 5 doctors of sciences – professors, 12 candidates of sciences – associate professors, 24 experienced practitioners and 2 senior teachers.

  The institute operates in Yunusobod district under Tashkent financial institute. The trainings are led in the classrooms, 318 and 319, on the 3rd floor of the "A" building located at 60A, Temur Street.

  At the Interdepartmental Institute, courses are organized on the following topics: "Schedule of training courses and seminars for bank employees", approved by the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Association of Banks of Uzbekistan:

- Accounting and auditing in banks;

- Financial and Credit Analysis;

- Currency operations of banks and their account;

- Taxation of banks and their accounts;

- Management of assets and liabilities of banks under Basel III requirements;

- New recommendations of the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision;

- National legislation and international standards for the organization of internal control over the legalization of proceeds from criminal activities and the financing of terrorism in banks;

- Managing the resources of commercial banks;

Interdisciplinary institutes and commercial banks also have the following advanced training courses:

- National legislation and international standards for the organization of internal control over the legalization of proceeds from criminal activities and the financing of terrorism in banks;

- Currency conversion and conversion operations;

- Preparation of traders participating in exchange trades on foreign currencies;

- Accounting and auditing in banks (for reserve staff).

 Professional development of professional college teachers was organized in three directions:

- Financial Officer;

- Banking Specialist;

- Honest expert,

  In 2018, more than 2,500 commercial banks and teachers have improved their skills.

  The management of the institute:

1. Director - Holmakhmadov Zamir Abdurakhmanovich works in this position from 03 January 2017.

2. Deputy Director - Jiyanov Bahriddin Ibragimovich works in this post from October 1, 2011.

3. Chief accountant - Davydova Zulfira Marsovna, has been in office since 1992.
