INTEGRATION OF SCIENCE AND EDUCATION IN THE BELARUSIAN NATIONAL ACADEMY
The delegation of the Scientific and Technical Council under the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan was received by the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus as a practical implementation of the Roadmap for scientific and educational collaboration between Belarus and Uzbekistan. On the same day the ceremony of awarding certificates based on the results of the internship of scientists from Karakalpakstan took place.
The chief scientific secretary of the Academy of Sciences, Ivanets Andrei Ivanovich, noted that the main task of modern scientists is not only a theoretical and methodological assessment of existing facts and processes, but also the creation of tools to solve existing problems. Currently, 127 research associations are operating at the Academy of Sciences, including 77 of them directly integrating with production. In his speech, he emphasized that the sustainable development of countries depends on their economic development. That is why research activities at the Academy of Sciences are focused on priority directions of all areas and spheres.
At the same time, in his speech, the vice-president of the humanitarian department of BNAN, academician Kovalen Alexander Alexandrovich noted that after the earthquake of 1966, 2000 Belarusians took part in the reconstruction of the city of Tashkent and contributed to this process. Kovalen A.A. emphasized that 237,000 Belarusian children were sent to Uzbekistan during World War II and the Uzbek people accepted them as their own children.
According to the negotiations, specific thematic areas of research projects were agreed for the implementation of joint design work with the aim of integrating science and education. And also in the framework of an agreement with the Institute of Economics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, cooperation in the field of research and implementation of scientific and innovative projects has been defined.
