On April 15, 2021, at 12:00 on the ZOOM platform, academicians of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, professors of PSU (Belarus), specialists of the European Institute of Applied Science and Management, professors of the Academy of Public Administration and Head of the Department of the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as professors, masters and students of the Tashkent Financial Institute organized an international scientific and practical conference on the topic: "Organization and management of the economy and production in the digital economy: theory and practice".

The conference was opened by the rector of the Tashkent Financial Institute Teshabaev Tulkin Zakirovich, then the floor was given to the academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Economics, Professor Gulomov Saidakhror Saidakhmedovich.

Approaching this topic, Saidahror Saidahmedovich stressed the importance of digital technologies in economic management, especially in today's period of rapid development, as well as the fact that it is not for nothing that 2020 was declared the Year of Science, Education and the Digital Economy in our country.

     In his speech, the deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Economics, Professor Nodir Dzhumayev stressed the importance of focusing on the development of the digital economy and financial technologies, which are key factors in the development of the country's economy.

Professor of  PSU (Belarus) E. Borisovna expressed her opinion on the importance of "Transformation of economic education under the auspices of the modern megatrend of globalization and digitalization".

Professor, Doctor of Economics, Dilfuza Rakhimova, Head of the Department of "Theory and Practice of  Management" of the Academy of  Public Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan, stressed the relevance of applying the strategy of socio-economic development of Uzbekistan in the digital economy. Shamsiddin Allayarov, Associate Professor of the Tashkent Financial Institute, Head of the Department of Management and Marketing, highlighted the importance of developing modern national management.

    The international scientific and practical conference was organized in the form of questions and answers, where professors-teachers and undergraduates addressed questions. One of the questions that the undergraduates paid special attention to was what kind of economy should be understood as the organization and management of the economy and production in the digital economy, what are the main problems in the organization of the digital economy in Uzbekistan.
