Support Centre for Minority Groups at Tashkent Institute of Finance
Tashkent Financial Institute is proud to highlight the existence of the "Support Centre for Minority Groups." This center aims to protect the rights, provide support, and expand opportunities for students, staff, and other members belonging to minority groups.
Main Objectives of the Centre:
- Comprehensive Support: Providing legal, psychological, and academic assistance to members of minority groups.
- Inclusive Education: Developing and implementing special educational programs for minority groups.
- Social Integration: Enhancing social integration among minority groups and strengthening their position in society.
- Protection and Support: Organizing programs to protect the rights of minority groups and offer support.
- Events and Seminars: Conducting seminars, trainings, and events focused on the interests and protection of minority groups.

- Personalized Approach: Offering support tailored to the individual needs and requirements of each student and staff member.
- Strong Collaboration: Improving services provided to minority groups through collaboration with international and national organizations.
- Innovative Approaches: Expanding opportunities for minority groups through modern technologies and innovative approaches.
The institute's psychologist, M. Yusupova, has organized psychological training sessions in art therapy, including “Isotherapy,” “Color Therapy,” and “Music Therapy.” These sessions utilize meditation, relaxation, and practical exercises. The training sessions were held on December 12, 2023, in the small lecture hall of the "Obi Hayot" building.
During the 2023-2024 academic year, various initiatives were undertaken to provide social and financial support to socially vulnerable students and youths assigned to the rector. Among these efforts:
- The well-being of 50 socially vulnerable youths in Tashkent, assigned to the rector, was monitored. Out of these, 10 needy youths received computers, and 35 received gifts and food items, totaling 111.7 million soums in assistance.
- Socially vulnerable students at the university, including 15 listed in the "Iron Book," 24 in the "Women's Book," and 56 in the "Youth Book," were given priority placement in student dormitories.
- A total of 185 socially vulnerable students were granted priority placement in student dormitories.
- According to the rector's order, 24 students who are orphans or under guardianship were provided with 100% discounts for dormitory accommodation, while 85 socially vulnerable students, including those who have lost one parent and those with second-degree disabilities, received 50% discounts.
- Additionally, 48 orphans from orphanages were provided with a total of 75 million soums in stipends over five months, as per the rector's order.
In accordance with the rector's order No. 503 dated December 18, 2023, issued on the occasion of the New Year holiday, the institute presented New Year gifts to a group of active, initiative-driven, and differently-abled students.
