Bank of Finland Research Unit welcomes applications for the visiting scholars program in various areas of the bank, in particular macroeconomics, monetary policy and financial stability.

The program runs from one to two weeks at any time from February to December 2024 (excluding July due to summer vacation).

The program invites scholars from academia, central banks and other policy institutions. Candidates must hold a PhD in economics or finance and be an active researcher. Preference will be given to candidates who have the potential to develop scientific cooperation with bank researchers.

During the program, participants will have the opportunity to participate in various research seminars and other research-related events, as well as to present their  work.

Round-trip economy class ticket to Helsinki, accommodation and meals are fully covered.

The deadline for applications is September 24, 2023.
