On January 18, 2022, the Center for Economic Development of the Regions under the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a conference on "Achieved results, prospects and cooperation" at the Lotte Tashkent Palace Hotel.

Representatives of a number of ministries, National Association of Non-Governmental Organizations of Uzbekistan and higher education institutions participated at the event. Head of the department "Economics" H. Asatullayev and head of commercialization of scientific and innovative developments department N. Mavlanov took part in the event as representatives of TIF.

At the event, the chairman of the center D. Bekchanov and the executive director of the center Sh. Asadov gave detailed information about the work done at the center and future plans. During the event, agreements were reached on joint implementation of more than a dozen regional development projects in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Khorezm, Samarkand, Fergana and Tashkent regions in cooperation with the Tashkent Institute of  Finance and the center.

At the event, National Association of Non-Governmental Organizations of Uzbekistan noted that the issue of allocating 8.9 billion soums in grants to non-governmental organizations in 2022 is being considered, and these grants can be used by opening Non-Governmental Organizations at higher education institutions. The event was held at a high level, rich in questions and answers.
