Dear students!

First of all, I express sincere congratulations on behalf of myself and the authority of the Institute on the occasion of a new day, awakening and renewal, a holiday - Navruz, embodying national values, traditions, millennial traditions of our working people.

Navruz is a new day. This is, of course, is its lexical meaning. It is safe to say that this great word reflects our thousand-year history. Since ancient times, our noble people have been waiting for this day as the beginning of blessings. On this day, new seedlings and seeds are planted in the ground. The grain is sprinkled. This blessing is an expression of support. Indeed, a plant planted today will bear fruit tomorrow.

Our young people, who have hope for the future, have a great responsibility to ensure that they bear fruit in the future, like these planted seedlings. A new revival has begun in Uzbekistan - the Third Renaissance. However, the new future of our country is determined by the enthusiasm of educated, creative, experienced and open minded young people. The role of the higher education system in educating and serving these young people for the benefit of the development of our country is invaluable.

In particular, today more than ten thousand young people study at the Tashkent Institute of Finance. About 500 of our professors and teachers teach them in the field of finance and economics. It is no secret that our native institute is a basic education establishment that trains personnel for our country in this area. The educational process at the institute is organized in accordance with modern educational standards. In addition, a large-scale work is being carried out at our university to increase the scientific potential. As a result of these practical efforts, in the national ranking of higher educational institutions published in 2021, our institute took 5^th place, and 1^st place in terms of scientific potential. In addition, for the first time, it was recognized by the reputable UK rating agency - Times Higher Education - as a REPORTER in the ranking of the world's leading universities.

By the way, it is impossible not to acknowledge the achievements of our students. In particular, one master's, one bachelor's and one doctoral student became became the winners of the Presidential State Scholarship, one bachelor's student became the winners State Scholarship named after Islam Karimov, and three bachelor's students became the winners State Scholarship named after Alisher Navoi. We have also introduced the Rector's Scholarship at our institute. This year, 7 talented students were awarded this scholarship. In celebrating these results, of course, the role of our teachers and coaches, who work selflessly in our institute, is invaluable.

It should be noted that one of our biggest and most important goals is to further improvement the position of the Tashkent Institute of Finance in local and foreign ratings, as well as to train competitive, educated, experienced and creative personnel for the modern labor market.
