The "Economics" department has established cooperation relations with the leading universities of a number of countries in scientific-research and educational-methodical work. In particular, in 2019-2020, cooperation was established with the Finance University of the Russian Federation, the People's Friendship University of Kazakhstan named after Academician A. Kuatbekov, as well as the Ural State University of Economics. Within the framework of international cooperation with foreign universities, a seminar on current problems of finance- trainings are being conducted, in particular, work is being carried out on the provision of guest programs for speakers, academic mobility, participation in joint international projects, organization of international conferences within the framework of the concluded agreements. In particular, as part of guest programs for speakers in February-March 2019, Professor Nureyev Rustem Makhmutovich and Associate Professor Gurnak Aleksandr Vladimirovich from the Financial University of the Russian Federation, as well as Vice-Rector of Peoples' Friendship University named after Academician A. Kuatbekov Suleymonova Balkhia Serikbaevna and Head of Department Kupesheva Aygul Kuanishevna They visited to give a lecture. It is also worth noting the effective scientific cooperation with the Ural State Economic University.

Within its framework, two international interuniversity scientific-practical conferences, joint monograph and joint articles "Public-private partnership as a factor of social and economic development of regional infrastructure" were published. In May 2023, the Department of "Economics" is planning to hold a joint international scientific-practical conference on the topic "Directions of providing an innovative transformation system for ensuring the integration of Uzbekistan's access to the international market". In the framework of further development of international cooperation in the future, one of the main goals of the department is to establish cooperation with leading foreign universities and research institutes, as well as to involve foreign scientists and professors in the teaching process.
