On September 17, 2020 a commemorative event was held on the occasion of the 113th anniversary of the People's Writer of Uzbekistan, a unique master of words, thinker, great man and famous writer Abdullah Kakhhor in the Writers' Alley in the National Park of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoi.

    Acting Rector of the Tashkent Institute of Finance  Sultanali Mehmonov, First Deputy Head of the Republican Center for Spirituality and Education Muhammadjon Kuronov, Head of the Literary Propaganda and Events Department of the  Writers’ Association of Uzbekistan, poet Farogat Khudoykulova, member of the Writers’ Association of Uzbekistan Khulkar Khamroyeva, Honored Art Worker of Uzbekistan Mehmonali Salimov, professors and teachers institute participated in the event.

     The guests recalled Abdullah Kakhhor as a passionate Uzbek writer, a strict, demanding and caring mentor of young writers, a wise counselor, a writer who was always in harmony with the people, expressed their opinion about his works.
