JICA and TFI wil expand its cooperation

On June 11, 2021, representatives of the Uzbek office of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) visited to the Tashkent Institute Finance. The rector of the institute T. Teshabaev discussed with the office of the JICA in Uzbekistan the organization of future training laboratories, the launch of the "digital library" project. Representatives expressed their views on the possibility of direct communication with the databases which will be created library, it will be access to the libraries of the developed countries of the world and the National Library of Uzbekistan named after A. Navoi.

 

Representative Utsumi Marie, Volunteer Project Coordinator of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Uzbekistan, who attended the meeting, expressed her gratitude on behalf of the Agency's office in Tashkent for supporting the Tashkent Financial Institute as a prestigious institution of higher education in the country. Mrs, Utsumi Marie also negotiated that the Agency is always ready to jointly implement the proposals of cooperation which mentioned by the rector of the institute, and she will closely assist in the development of all partnerships in this regard.

 

During the conference, in Uzbekistan office`s Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) have provided the modern textbooks for students of finance and economics for the library of the institute. In turn, the rector of the institute Prof. Dr. T. Teshabaev presented a letter of appreciation to the head of the Agency's office in Uzbekistan for his efforts to strengthen cooperation. In corresponding relations have agreed by leaders to develop definite proposals for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation.
