On February 5, 2021, a literary and artistic event on the theme "Poetry and Melody" was held at the Tashkent Institute of Finance, together with the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan and the Uzbek State Institute of Art and Culture, on the occasion of the 580th anniversary of the birth of Alisher Navoi and the 538th anniversary of Zakhiriddin Muhammad Babur.

   The event was attended by a member of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan, writer and poet Khabib Abdunazar, People's Artist of Uzbekistan Khairulla Lutfullaev, People's Artist of Uzbekistan Orolmirza Safarov, Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs Uktam Norboev, Umrzak Rajabov, Chairman of the Women's Council of the Institute Barno Nurmukhamedova and teachers of the department and Uzbek student youth of the institute.

  In the artistic part of the event, a concert program of classical songs was presented with the participation of Artist of Uzbekistan Khairulla Lutfullaev and People's Artist of Uzbekistan Orolmirza Safarov and musicians of the song and dance ensemble "Saikal".

  At the end of the event, the most active students who took part in the "Poetry and Melody" competition held at the institute recited poems by Navoi and Bobur. The high-level event made a huge impression on everyone.

   On February 8, 2021, a poetry evening was organized dedicated to Alisher Navoi, a great figure of the consciousness and thinking of our people, a great figure in the history of art culture, an unparalleled representative of our national literature, the pride of our nation by  the initiative of the Women's Committee of the Master’s department and the Faculty of Banking in order to fulfill the tasks set by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan PD-4865 on the wide celebration of the 580th anniversary of the great poet Alisher Navoi, The participants of the event were Farida Afruz, the Deputy of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan, holder of the Order of Friendship and the member of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan. Zilola Khujaniyozova (the member of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan), Navruz Rizayev (Deputy of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan), professors, teachers and students of the Institute. The evening focused on the life and work of Alisher Navoi, listened to his ghazals and rubais. Overall, the poetry evening was informative and impressed all the participants.
