The scientific potential of higher educational institutions is determined by the fact that professors and teachers working in them defend dissertations for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Doctor of Science (DSc), and also receive the relevant documents from the Higher Attestation Commission. At the same time, the percentage of the total number of faculty members working at the university (full-time or part-time) is assessed on the basis of the degree available.
 

Despite the fact that the Department of “Economics, Management, Taxes and Insurance” of the “Correspondence” Faculty was created in the 2021-2022 academic year, it is working to improve the scientific level of its teaching staff. Since the beginning of the academic year, two teachers of the department: S. Sobirdzhanov and N. Khasankhanova successfully defended their research work and contributed to increasing the scientific potential of the department from 48.3% to 55.2% (compared to the total number of employees).
 

September 24 S.Sobirdzhanov successfully defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic "Improving the management of small business and private entrepreneurship in the conditions of economic liberalization" in the specialties 08.00.13 - "Management" and 08.00.15 - "Entrepreneurship and small business economics".


 

On October 8, N. Khasankhanova successfully defended her thesis for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the specialty 08.00.01 - "Economic theory" on the topic "Development of the conceptual foundations of the knowledge economy in Uzbekistan".



 

The department of “Economics, Management, Taxes and Insurance” is ready to continue working on increasing its scientific potential.
