On December 12, 2022, the Department of Management and Marketing of the Tashkent Financial Institute and the Central Sanitary and Epidemiological Station of Uzbekistan Temir Yollari JSC, in connection with the International Anti-Corruption Day on December 9, held an event on the topic “Corruption and national development: Problem and solution” in the lecture hall of the Central Sanitary and Epidemiological Station of Uzbekistan Temir Yullari JSC.

As part of the event, Associate Professor of the Department of Management and Marketing, Ph.D. Sobirjonov Sanjar Sobirjonovich discussed the factors that give rise to corruption, the historical roots of corruption, meritocracy, kleptocracy, pragmatism, lobbyism, nepotism, violations of the principles of equality and social justice, the functioning of democratic institutions and the moral norms of society.
