As the autumn-winter season approaches, ensuring the safety of natural and man-made disasters becomes a more urgent issue. In order to draw the attention of the general public to these issues and to prevent emergency situations, it was announced that "Fire Safety Month" is organized in our country from November 15 to December 15 of this year.

On December, 2022 a roundtable discussion was organized in collaboration with the staff of the Emergency Situations Department of Almazor District, within the framework of the "Fire Safety Month" in Students’ residences No. 1 and 2 of Tashkent Institute of Finance located in Almazor District.

The civil and labor protection department of the institute, emergency department of Almazor district, responsible staff of student residences and students took part in the event. Those who spoke at the event talked about prevention of fires and emergency situations, technical safety rules, civil protection, following fire safety rules, movement procedures in the event of a fire, poisoning from trace gas, which poses a serious threat to the life and health of citizens, and its negative consequences, as well as Opinions were expressed on preventing fires and other unfortunate incidents that may occur due to the neglect of adults and leaving young children at home unsupervised.
