Tashkent Financial Institute held a scientific-practical conference on "Innovative development of banking activity in Uzbekistan and using new technologies in banking operations: problems and solutions" in Tashkent on April 26, 2019.

The conference was held based on Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan UP-4947 dated February 7, 2017 "On the Strategy for Action for Further Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan", Resolution by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan PP-3620 dated March 2, 2018 "On Additional Measures to Increase Public Access to Banking Services", Resolution by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan PP-2777 dated February 15, 2012 "On measures to further improve the circulation of money and develop calculations using bank plastic cards", Resolution by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.PP-3270 dated February 12, 2017 "On measures for further development and sustainability of the banking system of the Republic" and Resolution by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan PP-3272 dated September 13, 2017 "On Measures for Further Improvement of Monetary Policy", the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan 133-F dated February 25, 2019 and the Behest of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan № 205 dated February 28, 2019.

International experts on banking and financing sector, representatives of Central Bank and leading commercial banks of the Republic of Uzbekistan, specialists, professors and young researchers of scientific centers and institutes attended at the conference.

Including, Director of the department of payment system and information technology of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan Mahmudov Ulugbek, director of Finance and Law institute of Ural state university of economics prof. Maramign Maksim Sergeivich, technical director of “Fido-Biznes” Shayusupov Shaxaydar Abduvallievich, director of the Human Resource department of Turon bank, head of the bank cards technical support department of Uzsanoatqurilishbank Salomov Islom Toshqozoqovich participated at the conference with their lectures.
Following the conference, scientifically based recommendations were developed based on current trends and international best practices of innovative development and application of new technologies in banking operations in Uzbekistan.
