Corruption is the enemy of social development

 On November 14, 2019, the Department of Economics organized an event on the theme “Corruption - the enemy of the development of society” as part of the week of the department. The event was attended by Feruza Azimova - the head of the Republican Center for Spirituality and Education, Davron Muitov - associate professor at the Uzbek University of World Languages, Political Science, Khurshid Boykhurozov - senior lecturer at the Kukeldosh School of Law and Religion, Umida Nuriddinova - member of the Marifat Republican Public Educational Center and teachers of the department "Economics".

 

 Corruption is the illegal use of authority. The meeting was dedicated to overcoming the negative consequences of corruption and an event to prevent it. In particular, the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Combating Corruption”, which was adopted on January 3, 2017, was discussed and strengthened the legal framework for the fight against corruption.

 

 The event was held at a high level and aroused the interest of students.
