On July 6, 2020, an online meeting of the administration of the Tashkent Institute of Finance and the Ural State Economic University was held with the aim of further developing bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting with the delegation of the Ural State University of Economics, the results of the cooperation work done over the past period were summed up and an agreement was signed on the training and retraining of the teaching staff, as well as the implementation of mutual academic exchange as a new stage of cooperation.

Speaking at the meeting, the rector of the Ural State University of Economics Yakov Silin noted: “The time has come to take the next step forward in the development of the interests of universities and our countries. I want to thank all of your colleagues who have worked hard this time for all of us. We will wait for you within the walls of our university, and also invite you to participate in the Eurasian Economic Forum next year. We have already created a joint monograph with you, wrote several scientific articles, and we will continue to cooperate further. "

They also discussed the implementation of 2 + 2 or 3 + 1 programs in the areas of bachelor's degree, 1 + 1 programs in the specialties of magistracy with the participation of two higher educational institutions.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on the development of a roadmap and organization of work within the framework of a cooperation agreement.
