December 2-4, 2019 Tashkent Financial Institute hosted a training seminar for the rectors of higher educational institutions of the Republic and vice-rectors for research and innovation on the role of higher education institutions in promoting investments, grant funding and cooperation with the private sector.

    The training was organized by order of the Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 7, 2019 № 25474.

    These seminars were held with the purpose of attraction of foreign investments and grants, development of the effective organization of international cooperation with participation of about 60 senior officials of higher educational institutions, expansion of public-private partnerships, commercialization of science and search of potential investors, how to achieve economic growth through the opening of branch campuses and branches of foreign universities, participation in research grants of private sector to improve their communication skills.

    Participation and speech of Yekaterina Gospodarik, Associate Professor of Belarusian State University, Jasur Umarov, Head of “Finspect Advisory”, Raufkhon Salahodjaev, Head of Research and Investments Department at Westminster International University in Tashkent have strengthened the ties of managerial staff of higher educational institurtions with international and private sector representatives.
