International finance-credit department is pleased to announce the launch of a module on “EU Digital Finance Strategy: best practices for Uzbekistan” under the grant of the EU Jean Monnet Actions at Tashkent Institute of Finance.
Jean Monnet Actions promotes excellence in teaching and research in the field of EU studies. The proposed module has the purpose of introducing EU studies with a focus on the area of international digital finance.
The purpose of the modul “EU Digital Finance Strategy: best practices for Uzbekistan” is to explore the EU financial and banking system and particularly the development of the digital finance in the EU. The opportunities and challenges associated with digitalization, as well as the conditions for the formation of a digital single market, promoting information innovation in finance by creating a common financial data area, and digital issues such as managing transformation risks, prioritizing digital finance strategy and scaling up digitalization for sustainable development. Attention will also be paid to the use of new digital opportunities in financial services and payments and the process of using the experience of the European Union countries in the development of digital finance in Uzbekistan.
