The results of scientific works of the department are published in the form of patents, monographs, scientific articles and lecture abstracts. For example, in the last 3 years, more than 20 author's certificates, about 10 monographs, 4 pamphlets, 10 training manuals and textbooks, more than 10 teaching-methodical manuals, in republican scientific magazines and collections More than 30 articles were published in 85 foreign influential journals by professors and teachers of the department. In 2020-2022, among the professors and teachers of the department, D. Tojiboeva and E. Ergashev received the Doctor of Philosophy (Ds) degree in economic sciences, and senior teachers of the department G. Khalikulova, M. Kulmetov, B. Shermukhamedov, M. Nuraliyeva , N. Khasankhonova successfully defended their dissertations prepared for obtaining the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in economic sciences.

In the current academic year, professors-teachers of the research department B. Tursunov, E. Rahimov, Z. Allaberganov, Sh. Fayziyev are preparing a doctoral dissertation. In 2021-2022, G. Khalikulova won the competition within the framework of state programs related to scientific activity. Currently, G. Khalikulova, M. Nuraliyeva and others are actively conducting research in the department in the fundamental project FZ-2020041539 - "Development of the insurance market and creation of smart insurance technologies in Uzbekistan".

A scientific seminar was organized at the "Economics" department, which is headed by T.T. Jorayev, Ph.D., professor "Higher Education Scholar of the Republic of Uzbekistan". At the scientific seminar of the department, scientific researches on current topics, educational and methodological manuals, texts of scientific lectures, monographs and pamphlets are discussed. Also, it is effectively used by senior research fellows and independent researchers of the department in conducting scientific research and creating new modern educational literature.
