On April 7, 2021, at the suggestion of the Department of Finance of TFI, within the framework of attracting professors and teachers with international scientific and practical experience and qualifications from foreign universities, an online lecture was organized by the assistant professor of California State University Nuriddin Ikramov through the ZOOM platform in the form of a webinar on the topic “Actual problems of finance” for students of the Faculty of Finance and teachers.

Nuriddin Ikramov began his educational activities at the Tashkent University of World Economy and Diplomacy. Thanks to a grant from the Umid Foundation, he received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Marketing and Marketing at the United States from Pennsylvania State University, which is one of the top 1000 universities in the world. He holds a PhD in Finance and Real Estate from this university. Since 2010 he has been working at California State University.

At the same time, Nuriddin Ikramov is a member of the International Expert Council at the El-Yurt Umidi Foundation under the Civil Service Development Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The scientific and practical data of the speaker on the net present value, which determines the satisfaction of unlimited needs with limited financial resources, methods of financing a business and the current value of investments in a pandemic, attracted the attention of students. During the lecture, students received scientific, useful, interesting information and practical skills on the topic, and also expressed their opinions and interests in the form of questions and answers.
