On May 24, 2023, a meeting was held with international expert Rom Aviv within the framework of the project "Insurance and Risk Financing" of the UN Development Program.
 

The meeting was attended by the head of this project O. Gaybullaev, the executive director of the Association of Professional Participants of the Insurance Market of Uzbekistan K. Abdurahimov, representatives of the Council of Farmers, Peasant Farms and Household Lands of Uzbekistan, representatives of the SEMURG INSURANCE insurance company.



 

At the event, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation A.Islamkulov noted that effective cooperation has been established between the Institute and the UN Development Program.



 

Gaybullaev O., the head of the project "Insurance and financing of risks" of the UN Development Program, gave detailed information about the goals and objectives of this project.



 

International expert Rom Aviv expressed his opinion on the results of research work on improving agricultural insurance, carried out within the framework of the project. The need to increase the role of the state in the development of agricultural insurance in Uzbekistan was noted.



 

The Executive Director of the Association of Professional Participants of the Insurance Market of Uzbekistan K. Abdurahimov, representatives of the Council of Farmers, Peasant Farms and Homestead Lands of Uzbekistan, the insurance company "SEMURG INSURANCE" and the Institute, including the head of the department "Insurance and pension business" H. Shennaev expressed their proposals and recommendations on improving agricultural insurance in our country.
