On November 29, 2019, the Department of Public Finances of the Tashkent Institute of finance held a spiritual and educational event on the significance of population statistics in the implementation of strategic goals.

 Ikrom Inomjonovich Shermatov, head of the statistics department of the Yunusabad district of Tashkent city, M.Rustamov, O.Khudoyberdiyev, deputy deans of the faculty of finance, the faculty of Public Finance Department, as well as students of the department took part in the event.

 During the event Ikrom Inomjonovich Shermatov held a training seminar on the topic “Census of the population of Uzbekistan for 2022”. He explained in detail the essence and content of the Presidential Decree “On Approving the Concept of Conducting a Population Census in the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2022” and the process of conducting a population census in 2022.

 Students received meaningful answers to all their questions regarding the census of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2022 and other questions of interest regarding the topic of the training workshop.
